Madie's got a secret......

That's right little Ms. Priss has been keeping a little something to herself.

Baby M2 is due February 5!  We cannot believe this amazing blessing and all SO excited to see what is in store for us. I just know Madie is going to be the best big sister ever.   This little family of three will soon be four!

Abilene Bound

Last weekend we headed west after work for a little R&R in Abilene.  It was just what we all needed.

MiMi's home cooking......

Chilling with Case, whom Madie is quite smitten with...

 Back porch rockin with Granddaddy.......

 Hamming it up as usual!
 Showing MiMi our dancing skills....
And our Saturday night my parent's lifelong friends the Harrisons came over for dinner. It was so much fun to catch up and let Madie meet them. She showed all her tricks as fast as she could!  Ha! All and all it was a great weekend!  There is just something about going home.

15 Months Old

Ms. Priss is 15 months old today!  She is just the absolute apple of our eye.  We have so much fun with her and Mike and were just saying that we seriously think she gets funnier every day.  We just never know what she might do.  She still absolutely LOVES to dance and breaks out a new move quite often.  Somedays when I pick up from school she just giggles the whole way home.  Yesterday she even held out her arm and hummed the whole way.  Like I said, she is hysterical!  I am not sure what she will be when she grows up but I know it won't be a wallflower.  Madie says mama, dada, coco, there, hot and what I think is her version of "good job". She also knows what a dog says - "ruff ruff".   I am SO amazed about how much she understands these days.  She knows exactly what we are talking about when we say it's time to eat, let's take a bath, let's go night-night, take this to the trash, the list goes on and on.  We are so very blessed to have this sweet little girl as our daughter, every day with her is brighter than the day before.

Birthday Celebration!

Last weekend we got to celebrate Cooper's 2nd birthday with a barnyard bash!  It was so much fun!

Here is little Cooper down on the farm
Chad and Mike getting ready for the festivities
Miss Priss ready to brush some goats!

I think this may have been Coop's favorite part!  He did so well.:)

Going for a little tractor ride
 Super cute cupcakes!

After the party we went back to Cooper's for a little family fun.  Here is Cooper, Madie and MiMi in Cooper's new house!

Granddaddy and MiMi stayed a few days with us and on Sunday we went to the Stockyards.  Even though it was ridiculously hot, we still had a lot of fun.

Watching the stampede with Granddaddy

Hitting the petting zoo with MiMi

 Our little cowgirl
Enjoying a lemon at lunch.  She loved to hate it! Ha!  It was so funny

Cooling off before heading back home
We had a great weekend!  Spending time with family is always the very best.  The next day Daddy took us the Dallas World Aquarium which is fantastic but my camera wasn't charged so you will just have to take our word for it!  :)

Port A part 4 & 5!

Man, I am WAY behind on my blog posts.  Several forthcoming and this the last of our fabulous beach trip.  I guess I am trying to prolong the memories.  :)

Madie and Coop playing with MiMi

Case and Mike on the night MiMi and Grandaddy kept Cooper and Madie.  Daddy said it was a day he will never forget, neither will we!  Thanks Mom and Daddy!

Madie's last day on the beach.  :(
It was SUPER windy that day and the condo wasn't going to put out tents.  No problem, Chad had a plan of his own.

It failed miserably but made me laugh so hard I thought I would cry!  Chad Chambers is always good for that kind of laugh!

Madie and her Aunt Kelly, boy does she love Kelly!
Waiting on the fishing boats one last night.....

My two little brothers that I adore

One of our last stops with Winton's.  A tradition for as long as I can remember.  We got some "GOOD" candy and saltwater taffy.  Unfortunately, the taffy didn't make it home with us (because I ate the ENTIRE bag in the car)

Farewell Port A, thanks for a first family vacation that we will cherish always.
