It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Christmas is such a joyful time of year and we LOVE to celebrate it at our house.  This year was no exception.  We had a blast and packed it full as much festive cheer as humanly possible.  No BAH HUMBUGS in my midst.  Ha!

The girls saw Santa at the Plaza in downtown Fort Worth, the whole scene was like being in a cheesy holiday movie.  I was as happy as could be!

Posing in front of a giant ornament

Carriage ride!! Yay!  I am certain I was as, if not more, excited as the girls about this!

Brian Luenser, a popular Ft. Worth photographer, took this picture of Marlie Grace and I in the Plaza.

The cousin Christmas this year was a little hectic but we did fit in ice skating and Frozen at the drive-in movie theater.

 Going to see Christmas lights!
 Making cookies for Santa
 Cutest reindeer in the land!
For some reason I think Santa's cookies may have been compromised.
Gingerbread house decorating with a 1 and 3 year old is not for the faint at heart.  All I am saying.

Santa brought the girls A LOOT!  A full kitchen, laundry set and American Girl babies.

Our only Christmas pic together!  So blessed by these sweet girls!

Iceapalooza

We had an epic ice storm that kept us at home for 5 days!  Literally, the grocery stores were out of everything, you couldn't get anywhere, it was craziness! The girls and I made the most of it!

Living room tent fun
Don't let that look fool you, our backyard was solid ice, not snow.  But we ice skated and sled on it for hours!

 Reindeer pops

 My Snow Queen
Cold day arts and crafts.  By the last day we were painting cardboard boxes!
