Forever!

Madie and I had a "date night" and went to see Kari Jobe at Pantego Bible Church.  We love Kari and are so proud that her home church is our home church.

Ready to leave for our big night!

Waiting patiently...... we had early seating which was a good thing because it was a packed house!
We even got to do a preshow Q&A with Kari and Cody Carnes.  I am so grateful for wonderful Christian examples that my sweet girls can look up to and aspire to model.

Silly selfies before the show started

Here is Madie's favorite Kari Jobe song:

Thank you sweet girl for a great night and thank you for having an overwhelming love of Jesus!

Day of the Girl

One of my very favorite non profits in Tarrant County is Girls Inc.  They work hard to instill confidence in at-risk girls.  This year I served on the Day of the Girl committee and was absolutely honored to have the opportunity.  We planned an event in downtown Fort Worth to celebrate International Day of the Girl.  We had a march down Main Street, a proclamation reading by Mayor Betsy Price and a rally in the Plaza.  I wanted to take both girls with me to experience the awesomeness of being a girl but decided last minute it would be a little much for MG.  So glad I did because it was a LONG march!  Ha!  Mae and I had fun though and she still has her sign in her room.  Strong! Smart! Bold!

Girls Night In

Mike decided to work late so the girls and I had a little GNI.  We are SO excited for Fall!  First we painted and decorated pumpkins on canvas, made our own pizza and then settled in for Toy Story of Terror.  I LOVE these special nights spent with my littles.

Fashionistas

These girls definitely have a style of their own.  I love seeing their little personalities and it just cracks me up!  A few of my favorites over the last few months.....................

North Texas Giving Day

Every year, United Way participates in North Texas Giving Day.  It is a challenge to the community to support their favorite charities.  This year we participated in a rally downtown and I took Mae with me.  I think she is still wondering what I do at work!  Ha!

My little giver

She was BEYOND excited to meet the Texas Ballet Theater ballerinas

We were dressed as our favorite books to raise funds for our summer reading program.  Here we are with Mayor Betsy Price.  Madie was SO glad our Mayor was a girl!  I am so glad she had an opportunity to see she can be anything she wants.

At the end of the day Madie got to chose two non profits to give to - she chose Texas Ballet Theater and United Way.  I was SO proud!

Back to School Pics

We did a back to school mini session last week for Madie.  I LOVE how the pictures turned out.  A little teary eyed as I look at each of them wondering where my babies have gone.  But oh how proud she is to be heading to Pre-K and I am absolutely in love with the stage of life we are in.  I sure my adore my sweet girls. But look at them, how could I not?

Frozen Fun!

Barnes & Noble had a Frozen themed Friday night event where we met Madie's friends, Emi and Carly.  We met in Starbucks before and the girls had treats.  I kept thinking about how I was probably looking at little girls that could be sitting around that same table in 10 years.  The girls were so sweet and so excited to see each other.  I was so proud of how kind they were to Marlie and how she had no idea she wasn't just one of the girls.

Prepare to be in awe......

 Sweet, sweet girls.
