Reindeer Games

We had a lot of fun decorating and making gifts for our friends this year!  Madie was ESPECIALLY helpful!  We made candy, reindeer food, gingerbread houses, decorated three trees AND had a giant Elmo outside.  Whew!  Christmas is hard work!

Marlie Grace's friends got books and reindeer food!
Gingerbread house decorating with Daddy.  MG just wanted to get her hands on some candy.  Well, so did I for that matter!

Madie's favorite Christmas song this year was Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell, Tinker all the way! Ha!  We listened to it over and over in the car.  She asked Santa for "Dora stuff and Tinkerbell's house".  She thinks Marlie wants a babydoll.  MG seems OK with the proxy vote!

Great Wolf Lodge

I am still severely challenged by blogging on the iPad. And let's face it - a picture really is worth a thousand words. We went to Great Wolf with Chad, Kelly, Cooper and Hadley again this year. It was lots of fun and it took me 4 days to get Madie to take off her bracelet.  Ha! I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Rockettes!

This week we surprised Mimi with tickets to see the Rockettes for Christmas! Madie was SO excited and I had to keep her from talking on the phone before because she could not wait to tell  what we were doing!  Ha! We couldn't take a camera in with us so this was all I got. However, the show was amazing!  Madie likes to show how the dancers kicked. Thanks for coming Mimi! Awesome memories.

Thanksgiving

So much to to be thankful for - but most of all, our precious family! We had a blast in Abilene. Lots of food, great family, fun with cousins, and even super heroes! H!

Halloween!

You know you are behind when you are writing a post about Halloween while watching Its a Wonderful Life! We had SO much fun this year. We decided to go to Abilene for the night. Mom and Dad get a ton of trick or treaters! It took Madie a bit to understand what was happening but once she discovered candy was involved we were in business! She always said trick or treat and thank you, just not always in the right order! Madie was Holly Golightly and Marlie was the most beautiful flower I have ever seen! She didn't feel great but was a trooper as always. After Madie finished she helped give out candy at Granddaddy and Mimi's. I think she liked that better! She would get so excited when'd kids were coming to the door she would dance and jump up and down! Poor kids could only talk her out of one piece of candy at a time though. H!

The next day Marlie went shopping with Mimi and I. Madie went fishing with the guys and caught her first fish! I am not sure how thrilled she was! Ha!
