If you fry it, the Chambers crew is bound to come! This weekend we headed to Brownwood to Jean Jean and Reag's house for a fish fry in honor of Nana's 92nd birthday. I laughed thinking back as it was fish that won Mike favor in Nana's eyes. See Nana had this way - when she wanted you to do something for her she said "no one can do it as good as you". She told Mike that about heating up her fish! He would go to great lengths from there on out to make sure he did it just right for her. She taught me A LOT, tactics I will pass on to Madie! Ha! Nana always fed raccoons in her backyard (actually she fed anything and anyone that came within 100 feet of her house) and there was a stubborn little raccoon that stayed in the tree watching us all day. Maybe Nana sent him to make sure we were frying the fish just right. We had so much fun, it was great to see family that we don't get to see often. My how we have all changed and grown. It wasn't long ago when it was all of us running around in the backyard tormenting each other and now it was our kids! What a great day - one I hope to do again soon. I mean if you fry something!

If you know my family, you know we have a sick sense of humor. The Moon Monster tormented us most of our childhood. He made a reappearance this weekend. For some reason he doesn't scare this generation as much! They took him down! That's what he gets for coming out before the moon I guess!
