We started the day with breakfast (woke up at 4:30am - someone was excited to be one!) at McDonalds. Then we came home for a nap and headed out to meet Aunt Kelly and Cooper at the Children's Musuem in Fort Worth. The kiddos had so much fun!

Cooper gave Madie a book about her very favorite thing - bunnies!
Then we headed in to play, and boy did we play!
Madie LOVED the bubble machine. She figured out quickly that she could make the bubbles go really fast!

At some point Madie adopted twins. Ha!
Cooper did a lot of grocery shopping. I bet he is stocked up now!
Madie loved this as well, she could put her hands on it and the pinwheels would spin. She could also see kids on the other side so she kept going back

Madie loves her Aunt Kelly. We were so glad they came to celebrate with us.
All that playing worked up an appetite so we went to the cafeteria for lunch. Madie and Cooper got to share a birthday cookie after they finished their hamburgers.
Obviously the best idea Mom had all day! Ha!
Before we headed home Madie got a new stuffed bunny and Cooper got a dog.
Once we got home, Madie decided to do an art project.
Here is the new stone for our flowerbed. I think she did a pretty good job!
And FINALLY when Daddy got home Madie got one of her birthday presents (we are waiting for the party on Sunday for the rest) her very own car! Look out Fort Worth there is a new driver on the road!
And if that wasn't enough, we all went out for pizza for dinner.
What an AWESOME first birthday. And there is still a party to come!
